BOARD OF DIRECTORS

As active representatives of our stockholders, our board of directors help to ensure the company’s success by establishing business strategies as well as steering supervision for the benefit of all our shareholders.

AVIRAM (AVI) WERTHEIM

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Since the year 1996, Mr. Wertheim serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alony Hetz Properties & Investments Ltd.
In addition, Mr. Wertheim holds directorships at Amot Investments Ltd, Carr Properties Corp., PSP Swiss Property AG and Energix Renewable Energy Ltd.
Among previous positions in his career, Mr. Wertheim was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mizrahi Tefahot as well as partner in Almagor & Co., a leading Israeli accounting firm.
Mr. Wertheim is a CPA and holds a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the Tel Aviv College of Management.
Mr. Wertheim volunteers in a wide range of youth education activities as well as in the Israeli Police Forces.

NATHAN HETZ

FOUNDER PRESIDENT & CEO

Nathan Hetz is a founder of Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd. Since November 1989, Mr. Hetz has served as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, director and principal shareholder. He currently serves on the board of Amot Investments Ltd., Carr Properties Corp, PSP Swiss Property AG and Energix Renewable Energy Ltd. Mr. Hetz received a B.A. in Accounting from Tel-Aviv University in Israel and is a certified public accountant in Israel

Professor Zvi Eckstein

DIRECTOR

is currently serving as Dean of the Tiomkin School of Economics at IDC Herzliya. He is also the Head of the Aaron Economic Policy Institute at IDC and a visiting professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He previously served as Deputy Governor Bank of Israel and he is an emeritus professor of Economics at Tel Aviv University. He holds a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota.

Professor Eckstein is a Fellow at Econometric Society and gave the Walras-Bowley lecture at the Econometric society and served as editor of the European Economic Review. He was a lecturer in leading U.S. universities, including Yale, Carnegie – Mellon, Boston University and the University of Minnesota. Prof. Eckstein has won many prestigious academic and professional awards, published in leading economic journals, books by academic publishers and was a member of several professional committees on behalf of various government agencies.

ADVA SHARVIT

DIRECTOR

Mrs. Sharvit has an MBA degree in Business Management and a B.Sc in Marine Biology.
In her previous position, Mrs. Sharvit served as an analyst in Dan Tahori Investment House Ltd.
Recently, she completed her research in Neurobiology for a Ph.D degree and continues to work in this field of research in Haifa University.

AMOS YADLIN

DIRECTOR

Major General (ret.) Amos Yadlin has been the Director of Tel Aviv University’s Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), Israel’s leading strategic Think Tank, since November 2011.
Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yadlin served for over 40 years in the Israel Defense Forces, ten of which as a member of the IDF General Staff. From 2006-2010, Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yadlin served as the IDF’s chief of Defense Intelligence. He also served as the IDF attaché to the United States, as commander of the IDF Military Colleges and the National Defense College, and as the deputy commander of the Israel Air Force.
Maj. Gen. Yadlin holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University (1994).

SHLOMI SHUV

DIRECTOR

Mr. Shuv is the head and deputy dean of the Accounting Program at the Arison School of Business of the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. Member of the Committee for Accounting and Financial Reporting of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel; authors a weekly column published in The Marker: IFRS in the Field, since early 2008, when the IFRS was first adopted in Israel. Shlomi has been voted Israel’s prime expert on IFRS by the country’s leading accountants. He is the author of IFRS 2020: New Financial Accounting (published in four volumes).

RONY PATISHI-CHILLIM

DIRECTOR

Mrs. Patishi-Chillim is currently a Partner at MoreVC Fund and a member of the investment committee at NeoMe Investment Club.
Among her prior roles: CEO of Lycored Ltd., a global foodtech company and VP Finance and management team member at ADAMA Agricultural Solutions. Previously, Mrs. Patishi-Chillim served as SVP at the Investment Banking Group of Barclays Capital (formerly Lehman Brothers), in the US and Israel.
Mrs. Patishi-Chillim is a member of YPO and holds an M.B.A from Boston University Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Business Administration and Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
