Signal House is an 11-story, trophy office building located in the Union Market neighborhood of Washington, DC. The building is in immediate proximity to Florida Avenue, one of the city’s primary vehicle thoroughfares, and is less than a five-minute walk from the NOMA-Gallaudet Metro Station serving the Red Line. Designed by Gensler, the 225,000 Sqft project pays tribute to its historically industrial surroundings with a truly unique design. It features a terracotta, metal panel, and curtainwall exterior framed by offset tenant terraces which soften the building’s massive presence and appear as two planes sliding atop one another. Typical tenant floors offer some of the tallest ceiling heights in the city, in addition to superior column spacing and remarkable views of the Capitol on the upper floors. In acknowledgement of the diverse cafes and produce vendors that have inhabited this neighborhood for over 200 years, Signal House also features 11,000 Sqft of premium on-site retail with available outdoor seating. Additional amenities include below-grade parking, a state-of-the-art windowed fitness center, bicycle room, windowed conference center, private terraces, and rooftop with Capitol views, serviced by a catering kitchen and bar.
